Brian Cataquet wants the card collecting world to know a little about him:
I am considered one of the most knowledgable and well-known dealers in the country.
I have been buying and collecting old vintage baseball cards since 1984 (age 11), perhaps I was ahead of my time in buying the vintage baseball cards.

Since age 15 I began by setting up tables at local card shows to sell some items from my collection and since then have been actively buying, selling and collecting vintage baseball cards and sports collectables.

Because of my experience and unique contributions, I am on the acknowledgements list in the Sports Collectors Digest price guide.

I have made contributions over the years for the price guide by finding uncatalogued cards to update certain card sets:

For example, I obtained the last card in the 1922 E122 AM Caramel set (Oscar Vitt card) which was unknown until I discovered it.

Other cards that were obtained by me and uncatalogued were E210-2 Lloyd Waner, T330-2 Piedmont art stamp of Suggs, TWO STRIP CARD (ISSUES) THAT WERE PREVIOUSLY UNKNOWN, and several others I discovered.

I also run frequent showcase ads in Sports Collectors Digest since 1994.
